Our Story

Founder, Grace Lowdell discovered a lack of social activities that her foster brother (who has FASD and Global Development Delay) could attend once he turned 18. With inspiration from him, Grace used her Event Management experience and degree to setup G.Beatz Nightclub in 2016.

Along with a team of dedicated volunteers, G.Beatz Nightclub provides disabled adults with a real nightclub experience, enabling new friendships and lots of fun to be had in a safe space.

Attendees can attend with support or unsupported (if support plans/mental capacity allow). We have policies around behaviour and attending without support, which are available for everyone to read. We provide all new attendees with a copy of these when they attend for the first time.

These events have grown so much since the first one in 2016. Many of the attendees attend regularly and the impact these events have had on mental health and social development has been astounding.

In 2025, with support from community funding, Grace transformed G.Beatz into more than a nightlife experience, The initiative now offers diverse programmes including sports and dance, alongside the creation of a Youth Panel. Today, G.Beatz stands as a driving force for disability and inclusion and meaningful social change.

G.Beatz CIC is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) which means their focus is to provide a benefit to the community. All profits generated are reinvested to benefit the community.

Grace actively seeks many funding opportunities to enable the community to grow, learn new skills and explore wider opportunities.

Company number: 13797066.

Crew

We are so lucky to have an incredible team of volunteers who dedicate their time to help our events to run smoothly. Our crew assist with a wide range of things from meeting & greeting to judging our dance competitions! We simply could not run these events without them.

All our crew members hold a valid DBS.

If you would like to be part of our crew, or find out more, please register your interest here.

DJ’s

Resident DJ’s, Jordan & Jack provide the soundtracks to the evening! Each event has a theme in which attendees can wear fancy dress (if they wish). The music will match the theme, along with some of our favourite classics! Song requests are also very welcome, you can request these with one of the volunteer crew members.
